Sanlúcar de Barrameda is the first municipality to hold the title of Spanish Capital of Gastronomy in 2022, a highly recommended getaway just over an hour from Seville. This is an annual event promoted by the entity of the Spanish Federation of Hospitality (FEHR) and the Spanish Federation of Tourism Journalists and Writers (Fepet) that consolidate Sanlúcar as one of the most interesting food and wine destinations in the country.
This event will allow to claim and manifest its gastronomic and tourist character, giving value to its productive sectors of the municipality, the great variety of agriculture, artisanal fishing and viticulture.
